JTD Typewriter №1: Enfilade. 4 Optical Sizes, 15 Fonts
NEWEST RELEASE: ENFILADE
Enfilade was just updated over at FutureFonts. This newest update, version 0.003, includes a Black weight and brings the total up to 15 fonts in the Enfilade Family.
If you don’t know what the deal is with Enfilade, it’s a condensed sans serif (and a spiritual condensed version of our Parabolica sans serif), that has four optical sizes. Each optical size is designed to work at half the point size of the previous one.
This solves the problem of choosing a condensed typeface that only works at a few point sizes and it makes it really easy to use one typeface for all the text in your layout!
BEHIND THE SCENES: SEDLEC
Rachel’s first release for the foundry, Sedlec, is moving closer to completion! This is it’s first time out in public.
Sedlec is a Geometric Sans inspired by the usual sources but mostly by Zhurnalnaya-Roublennaya, a Soviet copy of Western Geometric Sans.
